Since June 2013, we have renewed the Downdijk maintenance environment (CMS) to version 6. In the renewal, we looked at the structure and setup of Joomla! and omitted all the drawbacks. Therefore, it's easier to work with the Downdijk maintenance environment as a layman than with the Joomla! CMS.
 

 

Plugins and Libraries

In the renewed Downdijk maintenance environment (CMS), there are several plugins and libraries, including Twitter Bootstrap (for design and Responsive web design), CKEditor (text processor), KCFinder (file management), and the usual jQuery (for interactions).

Support for Older Browsers

In addition to libraries and plugins, we have also decided not to support older browsers such as Internet Explorer 8 and below, especially after Microsoft's announcements that it will no longer support Windows XP from April 2014 onwards.

When will my CMS be updated?

Do you already have a Downdijk maintenance environment (CMS) and it hasn't been updated to the latest version yet? This is because the system has been completely renewed, including the frontend (website itself). Therefore, we can only update the Downdijk maintenance environment (CMS) by rebuilding the website for you.
